For someone a bit socially anxious venturing into self-media for the first time, 1,000 followers was a rare small achievement. To celebrate, a fan who kept his word traveled north with her for a two-person Lolita photoshoot.

After thinking it over, I decided to record my 1,000-follower milestone on Twitch.

Why Twitch?

Do you know Twitch? It’s one of the livestreaming platforms. People who follow me closely know that it’s where I’ve mainly interacted with everyone live.

At first I just found the platform simple and easy to understand, with very low latency. I loved being able to interact with viewers quickly, so I stayed.

I usually stream at least twice a week, two hours each. It’s not purely entertainment—sometimes I run fiction-related activities, or just open a work-along stream. It’s all very casual. Even so, after more than a year of streaming, my channel finally reached 1,000 followers!

1,000 Twitch followers: a rare small achievement

When I moved over from YouTube, I never imagined this day would come—I’m way too laid-back about it. So I was really happy when it happened!

1,000 followers may be easy for others, but for someone like me—a bit socially anxious and venturing into self-media for the first time—it’s very satisfying XD

The 1,000-follower promise: a two-person Lolita shoot

So for this rare small achievement, I made a promise with a fan: when I hit 1,000 followers, he’d come north with me for a two-person Lolita photoshoot, sacrificing his dignity to crossdress!!

When we made the promise, I had just over 500 followers. He’d just changed jobs, and he said that after being busy for a while he checked back and was shocked: huh? Why is it almost 1,000?!

But a gentleman keeps his word, and he really did come north with me for a studio shoot XD

Isn’t our Xiongxiongzi gorgeous? While doing his makeup, the makeup artist couldn’t stop praising him: “Look at that high nose bridge!” “When guys get serious, girls don’t stand a chance!” “So beautiful—just like a rich young lady!” Hearing that, I felt like I’d become the little maid in the background XD

Originally I only wanted to document Xiongxiongzi’s crossdressing, but I hadn’t done a photoshoot in ages, couldn’t resist the temptation, and ended up joining in.

In short, I’m really grateful to have such a loyal fan who keeps his word—he rode all the way north and then zoomed back south with so much enthusiasm. Knowing how hard he worked to keep his promise, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t moved QQ

Next up: 1,100 followers?

But last time I half-jokingly asked him, “So when’s the next crossdressing?”

Him: “At 1,100 followers.”

I checked, and it’s already at 1,077????

—Uh-oh, did I accidentally unlock some weird trait in him?!
